Southland FFA Judging Team standing by the famous Hotel Limpia in Fort Davis Texas. The ghost stories added a good time to the wonderful trip. The students were able to tour the fort using a GPS system. Overall a great trip with great results.

A look back into History

This came out of the 1956 FFA Manual, "Hobbies, someone said that work is only work when we would rather be doing something else. All of us need a occasional change. Successful men have found that a hobby of some sort provides a change and gives zest to a profession or vocation. Washington made a collection of plants and trees from many climes, Theodore Roosevelts hunted and studied bird life, General Dawes plays a violin and composes music for it ". When it comes to life enjoy it.
